Amin Bunian is a 3D animated action-adventure series rooted in Southeast Asian folklore.
Blending magical realism, emotional storytelling and heroic quests, the series follows a rebellious boy who must become a selfless hero when his family—and the balance between two realms—are placed in danger.
The original Malay-language concept is planned as a 13-episode season of 22-minute adventures for children aged 6–13, with crossover appeal for families and fantasy audiences.
When his younger sister is kidnapped into the hidden Bunian realm, thirteen-year-old Amin must cross into a world of enchanted forests, ancient artefacts and deadly sorcery to bring her home.
Guided by a legendary keris and Hakimi, a horned feline guardian with the wisdom of a warrior, Amin begins a journey through breathtaking forests, floating palaces and forgotten cities. What starts as a desperate rescue soon reveals a danger far greater than he imagined.
Pawang Hitam, an ancient warlock exiled from the Bunian realm, has returned to reunite the forbidden artefacts of Raja Sulaiman. If he succeeds, he will rewrite the balance of magic and bring both the human and Bunian worlds to the edge of collapse.
Alongside allies such as the fearless warrior Kumang and the revered silat master Tok Mat, Amin must overcome his impulsive nature, protect his sister Adiha and accept a destiny he never asked for. At its heart, Amin Bunian is a story of family, sacrifice and the courage to grow.
